This LL5 chondrite amphoterite was a witnessed fall on October 16, 1975, but it took 14 more years before this main mass was found, when it was stumbled upon by ranchers. There were bits of grass growing out of the cracks, but otherwise, it appeared as though it had fallen yesterday. The surface deails show the classic “thumb- print”, or regmaglypt pattern associated with melting during entry.
